Noah Rolled Over and Other News...

My little pumpkin is 2.5 months old and was trying all week to roll from his back to his tummy. He kept getting his arm stuck and it made him extremely mad. I swear I just touched his arm and said, "Pull this one back, Noah," and he did it and was successful at rolling over! I caught his second roll on video and here's a funny video I did set to the Rankin's song "Movin' On". He has been doing it consistently now over and over again. Bonus: he likes tummy time now.

Ok, I have to catch the following story on video or no one is going to believe me. If my husband hadn't seen it with his own eyes, he would have said I was making it up too.

I have a hand puppet book called, "Noah's Ark" --it is a book for new borns with a hand puppet. Each finger has an animal: zebra, giraffe, elephant, and lion, and of course the thumb is old man Noah. I asked Noah to touch the zebra (index finger), he did. Fluke I thought. So I asked him to touch the lion (pinky finger). Coincidence, I thought. He is shaky with his motor skills of course, but he was touching the animals with his shaky hand. He touched ALL the CORRECT animals that I named.

I did this THREE TIMES and kept yelling for my husband to come look. He saw him do it once and then said, WHATEVER, it's just luck. And I said, "NO WATCH AGAIN!!" And so I did it again and my husband was in shock and said, "GIVE ME THAT, I WANT TO TRY!"

Noah then lost interest in it, he was too busy staring at mommy.

I swear, I'm getting it on video and you will see for yourself I'm not lying. I so wanted to post this on the baby center boards, but there is no way they'd believe me, and some of you are my actual friends and KNOW I'm an honest person.

Maybe it was a coincidence, and maybe not. Who knows? I was all wound up and excited afterwards though! I think I'll call Jay Leno and book Noah on the Tonight Show...

I wish I could get the video to work. It just keeps saying "This video is not avaliable try back later". Grrrrr I wanna see your little man in action.

Well, I can't think of the last time I asked for prayer for myself but here it goes. I just found out Friday that there is indead two little ones growing in my oven. Joe and I are scared to death but thrilled. Now THAT isn't the part we need the prayer for. They also say two more images and one of them had a heartbeat. Now THAT is what we need the prayer for. How can you get 3 babies out of 2 eggs? Well, we will know for sure Monday afternoon when we go to the IWK super ultrasound machine. We are hoping it was just bad imaging.

I originally thought 2 was a scary prospect but the thought of 3 just chills me to the core. I will let you all know as soon as I can but please keep us all in your prayers.

Congrats Christa. I'm just realizing this now that you're pregnant.
I know a girl here who's having triplets...totally unexpected. She wasn't on any kind of fertility drugs or anything.

I am a BBC "friend", and you are right... I want video :). I am jealous and feeling totally inadequate as a Mom since my baby is not even close to rolling over. (I am kidding by the way) But really, I do need to give Maddie more tummy time. She has NO intrest in rolling from back to tummy that is for sure!

Well it is confirmed...I am having two sets of identical twins. YES THAT IS 4 BABIES!!! Well, I really don't know how I feel about it. We are completely in shock. If you could direct a prayer of two our way we will surely need it.
