Have you all heard of the young woman with 6 children who put the Pokemon cards her children snuck into the grocery cart up for auction on Ebay?
She had a hilarious story to go with why she was putting them up for auction. You can see the ad here .
Someone asked if she had a blog, to which she replied to with a yes and a link to that blog which is equally as funny. The only problem is that it is obviously getting alot of attention and alot of hits, so the page is slow loading and crashes sometimes. She has had many offers from magazines and publishers to write for them and/or to write a book. She's working on a book. She's my hero!
She was just a regular blogger like me, writing out her day to day experiences and now she is going to profit from doing what she loves!
I read this quote on her blog, and it's my words to live by for the day: "Do what you love and the money will follow."
Do I write to be discovered? No, but I can't say that I'd mind if it happened...

Yeah, I have to say I am with you on that...
I love writing...my problems: I never seem to have the time; I get my waves of inspiration from bad weather, bus rides, and late nights; and if I HAD to write, I don't think I'd want to.
I read Poke-Mom's story, which was great, but I have to say, Sandy, I have laughed more at your posts!! I think YOU should write a book Your biting humour and utter frankness are refreshing (and a little addictive).
Aww, thanks Margaret! :)
