Confessions

I confess that...

  • ... I have been horrible keeping up with this blog because it feels like one more thing that requires energy I don't have. lol

  • ... "lack of energy" sounds better than "pure laziness".

  • ... I'm glad I don't have to lug out the Christmas tree this year. I love decorating it, I don't enjoy putting it all back after the holiday is over.

  • ... I'm about to drink lemonade that is a day past it's expiration date. I guess I'll find out if anything bad happens when you do things like that.

  • ...I just applied for our marriage certificate. I don't think we've been legally married all this past year.

  • ...every day that passes with Noah and he smiles that big gummy grin and I fall more in love with him, I can't imagine going back to work. My priorities have changed and I think my boss was right. I'm probably not going back.

  • ... the new Sears Christmas commercial drives me nuts. I think I could like the song in the background if it actually made sense.

  • ... I made a whole Facebook group dedicated to finding out the words to the above confession.

  • ...sometimes I think of Noah growing up and it overwhelms me. I hope he's not a monster child or a disrespectful teenager.

  • ...I was doing really well with our finances and then I wanted to buy a few things and am now $200 in overdraft.

  • ...I would have rather slept last night than perform my "wifely duty", but someone was very persistent and so I had to give in in order to get sleep.

  • ...I haven't folded the laundry or done housework in a couple of days.

  • ...I feel sad that I'm taking Noah to Nova Scotia for 2 weeks before Shane and staying later after Shane leaves. He said he's really going to miss him and is probably going to cry. (He'd kill me for saying that...haha.) But honestly, when will I ever get to stay that long with no restrictions ever again?

  • ...I would never let Shane take Noah for that long. Ever.

LOL You made me laugh... I go away a lot with the kids without Andrew... The first time I went, Jessica was 11 months old, and I was away for 5 weeks... When we were moving to NS, we were apart for 4 months! Now that we're closer to home, I go to CB a lot without him for weekends and stuff... and I agree... I would NEVER let him go away that long with our kids without me. LOL!! I think it's a Mommy thing. LOL Thanks for making me laugh. You're too funny. Hope all is well... and I hope that marriage certificate thing works out... LOL! TTYL

How the heck did I miss this post??? I always check your blog. I must be getting slack. LOL
I completely understand #11. It's easier to just give in. Don't say I said that. LOL Men just don't understand that we'd rather sleep...but it's so true. I would even take sleep over chocolate. Oh! Shocking I know. LOL
